The Georgetown County Public Services Department/Facility Services is soliciting sealed bids for the Repairs and Mitigation of the Jetty View located at 4939 US 17 BUS, Murrells Inlet SC 29576, also known as Morse Park Landing.
During the incident period, September 12, through October 4, 2018 the State of South Carolina experienced severe storms with heavy precipitation from Hurricane Florence that produced large volumes of run off. The park is used as recreational and for boats to launch. Damage from the rising seas and heavy rains from the surrounding area converging to the area creating the parking lot, boat ramp, and natural bank to scour. This bid is based on a USDA Service Grant.
