Description: The Franklin County Fiscal Court will accept sealed bids for the design/build of a water splash pad feature at Lakeview Park, 118 Park Avenue in Franklin County, Kentucky 40601. Sealed bids will be received in the Office of the Franklin County Fiscal Court, 321 West Main Street, Frankfort, KY 40601; ATTN: Huston Wells, Judge/Executive, until 10:00 a.m. on April 1, 2016. Bids will thereafter be publicly opened and read aloud. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any irregularities should the same be to the advantage of the County and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Franklin County Government. All questions from the Bidders shall be submitted in writing by 2:00 p.m. on March 25, 2016 to Mr. Robert Hewitt, Planning & Building Codes Director, 321 W. Main Street, Frankfort, KY 40601, or e-mailed to rhewitt@franklincountyky.com. E-mails must include a subject title “Franklin County Lakeview Park Splash Pad PROPOSAL Question”. Specifications may be obtained from the office of the County Judge/Executive, 321 West Main Street, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601 or on the Franklin County web site at franklincounty.ky.gov. Each bid submitted shall be signed in ink and enclosed in a sealed envelope conspicuously marked: “Franklin County Lakeview Park Splash Pad” Bids received after the closing date will not be accepted. This procurement is to be funded in part with federal funds through the Land and Water Conservation Fund through the National Park Service. Federal standards are applicable to this project.
