Description: The Jackson County Board of Commissioners is requesting qualified proposals on behalf of its Information Technology (IT) Department from licensed firms for Microsoft 365 implementation until Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST. One original and five copies of the firm’s proposals must be submitted by mail or delivery to the Jackson County Administration Building located at 4965 Jackson Parkway, Jefferson, GA 30549. Addendum 1 posted as of 7/3/25 will provide instructions for those wanting to submit electronic bids. Bids received after the due date and time will not be accepted or considered.
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines a comprehensive and structured migration strategy to transition Jackson County Government from its legacy, on-premises Microsoft Exchange environment, traditional Microsoft Office deployments, and decentralized file storage systems to a fully integrated, cloud-native Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The initiative is designed to modernize the county’s IT infrastructure, streamline operations, improve employee collaboration, and enforce enterprise-grade security standards.
The migration will not only enable the county to adopt modern cloud technologies but also establish a scalable digital foundation capable of supporting future innovation, compliance requirements, and more efficient work capabilities.
