Type of Addition: ADDENDUM 1 DEBRIS MANAGEMENT AND REMOVAL SERVICES Answers and New Bid Date Addendum
Overview: DEBRIS MANAGEMENT AND REMOVAL SERVICES
Answers and New Bid Date
Time is given to address outstanding questions:
• For the bi bond, it is asking for the amount to be 5% of the proposal price. Since the bid form does not include extended totals or a grand total, what are we to base the bid bond amount on? Bid Bond not applicable
• Item 2 – “Construction and Demolition debris hauled to and dumped at a City approved disposal site or landfill”. There is no mention of nor a separate line item included for the reduction of C&D debris. Will a separate item be included for to haul C&D debris to TDSRS for reduction and then to Final Disposal? Or will all C&D debris be brought directly to Final Disposal? Directly
• Item 6 – Since there a price difference for grinding of vegetative debris versus burning, will the City accept 2 separate prices for these operations? Grinding only, no burning in city limits
• Item 10 – “Stumps”. Does item 10 include hauling to TDSRS, or will this debris be put in the ROW and hauled out under Item 1 and reduced under Item 6 Put in right of way, then hauled away under 1 & reduced under item 6.
• Item 11 – “Hangers”. Does item 11 include hauling to TDSRS, or will this debris be put in the ROW and hauled out under Item 1 and reduced under Item 6? Put in right of way, then hauled away under 1 & reduced under item 6.
• Item 12 - Would the City consider allowing pricing for both RACM and non-RACM structures? Yes
• On page 3, the RFP states, “Proposal shall not exceed, with requested options, 50 pages.” On page 11, it states, “Proposals shall include the information listed above, specific acknowledgements or comments on the notes and provisions, and no more than twelve (12) other standard size pages.” Could the City please clarify the page limit? And does the page limit refer only the written narrative? Required forms and attachments alone could exceed 50 pages. 50 pages for writing narrative
Sealed bids are now Due Tuesday, January 21 , 2025, no later than 3 pm. Sealed proposals shall be submitted to Carl Wright, Procurement and Property Manager, City Hall, 187 West Broad Street. At this time, they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Procurement Office Conference Room.
