Description: The Escambia County Community Redevelopment Agency is soliciting bids for design, construction and installation of two (2) entrance signs for the Englewood/Palafox CRA District and Englewood/Brownsville CRA District:
Two (2) Signs :Double-Sided, Free-Standing, Dimensional Sign
• Sign to be made from high density polyurethane with a faux wood grain background
• Raised letters, borders and graphics
• Sign supported with 2- 4” x 4”, 6’ tall posts (color and style to be determined by design)
• Sign posts are to be set in concrete
• Actual sign width and height will be a total of 48” wide with 36” in height
• Sign design details and color scheme to be finalized with the awarded company prior to construction
• One Sign will be located in ROW on E Street; Second sign to be located along W Street
• Contractor to provide two sign design options. Signs will be similar in style. The name of the district and background color will be different on each face.
o Revisions may be requested
• Quote shall include cost for sign designs, installation, and necessary permitting for the signs
o Per Sec. 5-8.6.a.d.7 in the Code of Ordinances, redevelopment gateway signs are exempt from sign permits
• Contractor to verify location of underground utilities (#811)

Insurance: The Contractor is required to carry the following insurance:
(a) Commercial General Liability, Form CG1, with $1,000,000 per occurrence. Excess or umbrella insurance may be purchased to make up the difference, if any, between the policy limits of the underlying policies
(b) Business Automobile Liability with $1,000,000 per occurrence minimum combined single limits for all hired, owned, and non-owned vehicles.
(c) Florida statutory Workers’ Compensation or proof of exemption.
