Description: Rio Rancho Public Schools (RRPS) is requesting competitive sealed bids with the intent of entering into a contract for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to provide Fire Protection Services Maintenance and Repair Services throughout the district on an as-needed basis. All potential Offerors are to read, understand and accept the requirements of this Request for Bids (RFP), especial¬ly the mandatory requirements.
This is a qualifications-based selection with cost as a consideration. The Offeror is required to provide, as part of the Technical Bid, the qualifications and other documents requested in this RFP. The Price Bid will be evaluated separately from the Technical Bid.
The award(s) of a contract shall take into consideration certain contractor qualification and performance factors that add value to a procurement contract. Factors such as contractor past performance, technical expertise and experience, management capabilities and resources, will form the basis for the criteria to be considered, in addition to price to perform the scope of work. Award shall be made in accordance with the terms conditions, and requirements stated herein.

Question: Hello, I would like some clarification on the Pricing page, Page # 26, Item D: "Hourly Rate for Service Technician". Do you want the service rate for normal working hours (8-5), night/weekend hours or holiday hours. I ask because Service Technicians are at union rates and the rates are different depending on when the service is utilized. With that being said would you like the normal service rates for Item D and a full breakdown of the Service Technician rates attached to that page? Thank you, Mike Legendre

Question: It is my understanding that state procurement laws prohibit a cost plus purchasing agreement, but can be remedied with a list minus contract. Please clarify note on page 26.
