Putnam County Solid Waste Activities Management and Disposal Services
The Putnam County Board of Commissioners requests sealed bids, good for 60 business days, for solid waste activities management and disposal services.
Prospective bidders must obtain a bid package from the Putnam County Board of Commissioners via one of the following methods:

• in person at 117 Putnam Drive, Suite A, Eatonton, GA 31024
• by email at putnamboc@putnamcountyga.us
• by fax at 706-923-2345
• by telephone at 706-485-5826
Proposals must be submitted on the proposal form issued by Putnam County and contained in the bid package.
Proposals must be received by Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The proposals will be read at that time.
LOCAL AND MINORITY OWNED/OPERATED AND/OR WOMEN OWNED/OPERATED BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS.
PUTNAM COUNTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL TECHNICALITIES AND TO AWARD THE BID BASED ON THE LOWEST AND/OR BEST INTEREST OF PUTNAM COUNTY.

ADDENDUM NO. 1
The attention of all bidders is called to the fact that this Addendum No. 1 forms a part of the Bid Documents and modifies them as follows:
Please have your base bid proposal reflect the following updates:
1. All waste is to be transported to the Pine Ridge Landfill, 105 Bailey Jester Road, Griffin, Georgia 30224.
2. Putnam County is contracting directly with this landfill.
a. Truck, trailers, compactors, and any other equipment making deliveries to the Landfill shall be numbered on all sides and easily visible and readable to the scale house operator.
3. The following information is to be emailed to the county daily:
a. Weight tickets in and out
b. All information is to be emailed directly to mevans@putnamcountyga.us
Failure to provide the daily information will result in non-payment.
