Question 1
Posted: 6/19/2020
Question: From time-to-time, Vertiv will add or remove product categories. How can we address changes to the Vertiv portfolio throughout the life of a contract? Perhaps a semi-annual review with the awardee will provide a forum to review the contract for modifications such as adding or removing product categories. Thank you for your consideration.
Response: Please reference Addendum No. 1.
Question 2
Posted: 6/25/2020
Question: We have a few questions regarding the insurance requirements of this bid. 1. Motor Carrier Act coverage is for common carriers. We are not a common carrier and do not have an insurable exposure for such coverage. What is the purpose of requiring this coverage? 2. Any Completed Operations and Product Liability exposures are really those of the manufacturer, not of us as a distributor. Will Arlington accept a COI from Vertiv listing us as an Additional Insured for these coverages, in lieu of us having separate coverage. 3. With regard to the Umbrella Coverage, will Arlington accept CGL coverage to the limits that encompass the both the GL and Umbrella limits in lieu of separate Umbrella coverage? Thank you
Response: Thank you for your questions. Per the Bid documents, the question deadline was 6/19/2020 at 5:00pm. There was a glitch in the software that allowed your question to come through past the deadline. The support team has been notified of the error. There is not enough time to answer the questions at this time. This may be a discussion with the awarded vendor.
