Description:

Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the rehabilitation of the S-96D Structure as described in this statement of work and as detailed in the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Generally, the scope shall include installing temporary cofferdams and dewatering, a pre-construction joint inspection of the structure to determine the extent of concrete repairs required, concrete surface preparation, concrete surface patching, concrete crack repairs, concrete surface coating, surface preparation and painting of steel sheet piling, repair and coating of steel sheet piling and miscellaneous metals, repair and painting of the roller gate, painting the cable drum hoist steel frame, fence demolition and replacement, replacement of the upstream and downstream safety barriers and staff gauges, and placement and repair of riprap.

The engineer's construction estimate for the project is $1,820,000.00.

Pursuant to the State of Florida Office of the Governor, Executive Order 20-52 (Emergency Management – COVID-19 Public Health Emergency) and the St. Johns River Water Management District Order 2020-05 (SJRWMD F.O.R. No. 2020-10) (Emergency Authorization For Continuity of Operations, Procurement, and Certain Other Measures Made Necessary By COVID-19), public meetings that are a part of District solicitations will be conducted by electronic means (webinar or telephone) during the terms of these orders. These meetings include, but are not limited to, solicitation openings, meetings for evaluation committees, presentations, negotiations, and pre-bid/pre-proposal meetings. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for August 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., at Teleconference 888-585-9008 conference room number 850427670#. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to clarify requirements of this solicitation.

Respondents have an opportunity to visit the site in person, unaccompanied, the morning of the pre-bid conference from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (all Respondents must exit through the gate no later than 12:00 PM).  The gate to access S96-D is located behind the Pavilion at the Fellsmere Grade Recreation Area at the end of Fellsmere Grade Road, Fellsmere, FL.  The structure is 4.8 miles south of the gate.
