Dawson County Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Dawson County Board of Commissioners, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit sealed bids from licensed, qualified individual/firm for a gymnasium exterior rehabilitation. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on September 25, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at the Veterans Memorial Park Gymnasium, at 186 Recreation Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Questions in reference to the above IFB must be in writing to the Dawson County Purchasing Manager, Melissa Hawk at mhawk@dawsoncounty.org or faxed to 706-531-2728 by 1:00 p.m., on September 28, 2018. All answers will be posted to website no later than October 3, 2018, by 3:00 PM, EST. Addenda, where applicable, will be posted in the same manner.

Sealed bids may be delivered to 25 Justice Way, Suite 2223, Dawsonville, GA 30534 until 10:30AM, on October 9, 2018. The outside of the shipping container/envelope must be marked with the appropriate bid number and title. Immediately following the deadline the names and bid prices of bidders will be recorded and read in the Administration Training Room at the above address.

The Dawson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Dawson County.
