NOTICE
IS HEREBY GIVEN that the TORRANCE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, acting by and
through its Board of Education, hereinafter "District" will receive
up to, but not later than the above-stated date and time, sealed Proposals for an
awarded contract for the work of the project generally described as RFP #04-11.30.21
Employee Benefits Broker/Consultant Services.
Submittal of Proposals. All Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished
by the District and/or attached via Vendor Registry. Proposals must conform
with, and be responsive to, the Proposal and Contract Documents examples, which
may be obtained from the District as set forth above. All Proposals should be submitted
to the District prior to the date and time set forth above.
No withdrawal of Proposals. The District’s Board reserves the right to reject any
and all Proposals and/or waive any irregularity in any proposal received.
Proposals shall not be withdrawn by any Service Provider for a period of Ninety
(90) calendar days after the opening of Proposals. During that time, all
Proposals shall guarantee prices quoted in their respective Proposals.
Award of Contract. The contract for the work, if
awarded, will be by action of the District’s Board of Education to the Service
Provider that meets the qualifications within the matrix established by the RFP
documents.
Inquiries and Clarifications. This document
is for informational purposes and shall not relieve the Service Provider of the
requirements to fully become familiarized with all the factors affecting the
Proposal. The Service Provider is advised that all inquiries and clarifications
about the RFP documents, specifications, etc., shall be submitted to the
District in writing no later than Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 4:00 PM
(PST). The District will respond by the end of the business day on Friday,
November 19, 2021. Verbal communication by either party with regard to this
matter is invalid. Inquiries shall be made in writing to: Richard Vazquez,
