Description:

Escambia County is soliciting proposals from qualified Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO) for development of affordable single-family infill housing for homebuyers on vacant County owned lots within the City of Pensacola limits near Baptist Hospital. HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program funding will be offered to support development costs for the CHDO to construct four new single family homes and to assist the buyer with a second mortgage to assist with down payment and closing costs to make the home purchase affordable for eligible buyers. Assisted buyers must have incomes at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI).
