Description: The City of Spartanburg is seeking proposals for the Fireworks Show for the July 4th Red, White, and Boom celebration. Proposal Number 1516-01-04-01 The City of Spartanburg, hereby, notifies all proposers that it will affirmatively ensure that all disadvantaged and women’s business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals should they be deemed unsatisfactory or to conclude that there are no satisfactory proposals and discontinue evaluations. The vendor that is awarded the proposal will be required to obtain a City of Spartanburg Business License and supply the City of Spartanburg with certificates of insurance for general, auto and workers’ compensation liability. Sealed proposals will be received in the Procurement office on the lower level of City Hall, which is located at 145 W. Broad Street, Spartanburg, SC 29304, until 3:00 p.m. January 4, 2016, at which time they will be publicly opened at the same location. No bids will be accepted after this time.
