Question 1

Posted: 9/12/2020

Question: I have a few questions about the Comp Plan. I may have others later. 1. What is the budget for this project? 2. Is this a full comp plan or land use plan only? 3. How detailed does the County want to be on transportation? 4. Where are the growth areas? Where is anticipated growth? 5. I would like to see the 2012 Comp Plan to compare to the 2017 Plan.

Response: Answer to No. 1: The County does not post the budget to its projects in the solicitation. Answer No. 2: This solicitation is for every element of a full updated comp plan. Answer to No. 3: We want the respondents to be as detailed as possible. Answer to No. 4: The respondents are to give us this information in their responses. Answer to No. 5: The vendor should review the most recent 2017 plan on the Florence County website. The link is http://www.florenceco.org/offices/planning/#comprehensive-plan. Since this will be a totally new comp plan, the review of the 2012 plan will not be necessary.
