Description:

The City of Callaway requests qualification statements from firms for the Boat Race Road Multi-path Design, RFQ No.: 2019-05.  The project is federally funded with assistance from the FDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).  By submitting a proposal, the Consultant certifies that they follow FDOT Procedure No. 375-030-006 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compete for Department Contracts) with prequalification by FDOT to perform 3.1 Minor Highway Design and 8.2 Design, Right-of-Way, and Construction Surveying types of work.

 

The services sought are the survey, design, and permitting of a multi-use path on Boat Race Road, parallel to the south side of roadway from Tyndall Parkway (U.S. 98) to S. Berthe Avenue, approximately one (1) mile.  The work primarily consists of construction of an FDOT typical and ADA compliant asphalt multi-use path and my require guardrails, construction of driveways, and concrete drainage inlets.  All proposed improvements on Boat Race Road shall be located within the existing right-of-way.
