Description:

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the transportation and disposal of Leachate. Leachate is the liquid generated by rainfall and decomposed waste that drains through and collects at the bottom of a landfill. Laboratory analysis of the County’s leachate is available upon request. Transportation and disposal will be on a regular scheduled basis and/or as needed based on unplanned events. The origin of the leachate is Perdido Landfill (PLF), located at 13009 Beulah Rd., Cantonment FL 32533.  Leachate is stored in one (1) four (4) million gallon holding basin with appurtenances which can provide filling of a transport vehicle.  Leachate is to be disposed of at an approved State of Florida and/or Alabama disposal facility.  A copy of any and all relevant certifications and/or permits pertaining to the transportation and disposal of leachate shall be submitted with the bid.
