Scope Summary: Gem Theater Masonry Restoration and Repair and Repoint All Brick

Masonry Stripping, Cleaning & Full Restoration:
Complete paint stripping of front and side brick masonry walls to follow with a steam cleaning of all walls and use of appropriate cleaning detergents for historic brick to remove any dirt, mildew, air pollutants, and other factors to bring back the vibrant colors of new brick. Grinding and tuck pointing of brick to restore its original era at initial construction of building using a historically appropriate mortar mix in a buff to ivory color.

A site visit will be schedule for all interested parties prior to bid due date. Companies considering presenting a bid for this project are urged to attend this site visit to obtain particular details as to the project.

ALL INTERESTED PARTIES WILL NEED TO MEET AT ETOWAH CITY HALL, LOCATED AT 701 TENNESSEE AVE AT 10:00AM.
