Overview:
- Is Beaufort County the owner of the 23 acre site? – Beaufort County and the Town of Hilton Head Island are co-owners of the properties adjacent to the existing Mitchelville Freedom Park, which is fully owned by the Town of Hilton Head Island.
4. Have the three financial scenarios been defined yet or will that occur during the planning process? – That will occur during the planning process.
5. The Town website indicates that the Town of Hilton Head currently undertakes park maintenance at this location. Will that continue? Is the consultant team expected to provide estimates of incremental maintenance costs? – Yes. Maybe, to be discussed further during the planning process.6. As part of the Business Plan process, should the consultant team research potential revenue enhancement activities and incorporate those into the financial projections? – Maybe, to be discussed further during the planning process.
7. What is the nature of coordination historic Mitchelville Freedom Park and Fish Haul Beach Park of the Town of Hilton Head Island next door in the master plan process? Are they to be considered together or separate? – The neighboring Fish Haul Beach Park will not be included in this master plan.
