PROJECT: WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT, LAKE STREET UNDER I-290 EXPRESSWAY This project consists of a water main improvement located at 500 East Lake Street, which includes the capping, abandonment, and replacement of approximately 991ft of 8-inch water main with a new 12-inch ductile iron water main. The work will involve locating and replacing the affected valves, hydrants, and the restoration of all disturbed areas. It is anticipated that nearly 505ft will need to be encased under the I-290 Expressway which is under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Transportation.Mandatory PreBid site Visit:  A visit to the site prior to submitting a bid is mandatory.
