Description:

The City of Springfield will be accepting sealed bids for contract mowing of the Springfield Water and Wastewater Department (SWWD) sites for 2019.  Potential bidders can either pick up information packets at the SWWD office at 924 Central Avenue or call the SWWD office at 615-382-1600 and request that a packet be emailed or mailed out.  After reading the information, all prospective bidders are to call the department to set up an appointment to visit the sites.  Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the City Recorder at City Hall, 405 N. Main Street, Springfield, TN, 37172, no later than 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud.  Any bids received after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, will be rejected.  Bid submittals shall make reference to Bid Notice #1088 on the outside of the sealed envelope and that the bid pertains to contract mowing services for the Springfield Water and Wastewater Department.  Any questions can be directed to Jamie Jackson, Senior Mechanic, or to Terry Beers, Director of the Springfield Water and Wastewater Department, at 615-382-1600.  The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
