Question: 1) There is no bid item for the sign panels on the permanent roadway signs, only an item for the sign posts. Can you add an item for the sign panels? 2) Will any adjustment of drainage structures be required for this project or only adjustment/replacement of box tops and castings?
Response: 1. The wrong pay item was shown. Quantity and unit cost is still correct. New Pay Item is 6510105 Flat Sheet, Type III, Fixed Size & Message Sign 2. The intent is to only modify the box tops and castings. Conditions inside of the boxes are unknown until the box tops are removed.
