Description: 025-011 Request for Proposals for Financial Statement Audit Services
In accordance with the Code of Alabama §11-43-85, the City of Prattville (City) requires an independent annual audit. The City requests proposals to establish a contract for the professional services of a qualified Certified Public Accounting Firm for financial and compliance audits performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) as set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and performed in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards (GAGAS) issued by the Comptroller of the United States. The contract will be for a term of three (3) years, beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, through the fiscal year ending September 30, 2027.
There will be an option to extend this agreement for auditing the City's financial statements for each of the subsequent two fiscal years. The continuation of the contract after each year is solely at the discretion of the City.
