Description: Dorchester County is soliciting via this RFP Job Order Contracting for general construction services. A Job Order Contract is an indefinite quantity construction contract pursuant to which the Contractor may perform an ongoing series of individual construction projects at different locations and facilities in a designated region. Job Order Contracting is used for construction and construction related work including, but not limited to, small to medium sized repair and rehabilitation work, replacement in kind projects, and minor new construction. This RFP segments the State of South Carolina into regions for which general contractors may submit a proposal, thereby permitting general construction work to be done Statewide based on the resulting contracts.
