Description: This is a per ton timber sale comprised of approximately 92.5 acres within the Sunnyhill Restoration Area, located in Marion County east of Weirsdale. The Sale Area is in Section 1; Township 17 South; Range 24 East. Sale boundaries include Fisher Road to the west, fenced boundaries, wetlands, and obvious change in timber type (Maps are included in the attached agreement). This timber sale is a combination of clearcut, longleaf thinning, and sand pine removal. Stands 1902012 and 1902013 are for clearcut harvest and comprised of sand pine with some mixed slash, where the objective is to harvest all mature pines. Stand 1902001 is a third row thinning with selection in 33-year-old planted longleaf. Selection in leave rows shall consist of removing suppressed, diseased, and deformed trees. In stand 1902061 remove all merchantable sand pine while not harvesting any longleaf. Stand 1902058 is an optional stand for harvesting scattered sand pine. The District roughly estimates the volume of timber conveyed in this Agreement to be 1,085 tons of pine pulpwood, 646 tons of chip-n-saw, 30 tons pine mulch, but there is no guarantee that the volume is present.
