Description:

Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified firms to remove and replace the irrigation pump, (and/or motor) & pump control module located at the Okeechobee County Historical Courthouse located at 304 NW 2nd Street, Okeechobee FL. 34972. Bidding firms shall also be required to provide itemized pricing for all of the connecting features and functions of this pump such as but shall not be limited to; intake and discharge piping, electrical wiring, sub pump removal, and replacement. All bidding firms shall be responsible for all measurements, materials, labor,
permitting, inspections, and appurtenances necessary for completion of the work as specified in the Bid Documents.

SCOPE OF WORK

Bidders shall be responsible for all measurements, site and equipment inspections, permits, labor, and appurtenances required to remove and replace the existing irrigation pump and electric control module that services the lawn and landscaping in and throughout the Okeechobee County Judicial Complex located at the 300 block of 2nd Street in Okeechobee, Florida. The awarded firm shall inspect the pump mechanism, motor, electrical lines, intake and discharge lines, pressure relief valve & well seal to ensure all components are in good, working order and shall complete all work to the satisfaction of the County.

Contractor shall be responsible for securing the job site during both non-working and working hours. The facility shall remain open and accessible to the public. Supplying appropriate signage, barricades, fencing, and traffic control devices shall be the sole responsibility of the awarded firm. The job site should be clean and secure at all times and the end of each working day. Absolutely no debris, tools, or machinery shall be left unsecured. Okeechobee County shall not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged goods.
