Response: 1. What are the allowable working hours/days for this project? Response: See response to Question 25. 2. Is the contractor allowed to work when the park is closed/nights/weekends, etc.? Response: See response to question 24. 3. Do you anticipate any weekend/night work in this project? What percentage? Response: The County is relying on the Bidder's expertise to complete the project in the timeframe allotted. 4. Please provide wage rates for: Milling Machine Operator, Roller-Asphalt Operator, Roller-Earth Operator, Loader Operator, Broom/Sweeper Operator, Paver Operator, Welder. Response: The prevailing rates in the question are typically associated with Highway Construction under the Davis-Bacon Act and, by extension, the Virginia Prevailing Wage Law. The project as designed has been designated as a Heavy project and is not intended to accommodate the operation of the machines in question for the Operator classifications. However, if any of these rates become necessary, wage conformance may be requested and DOLI will make a decision on its inclusion. Welders typically receive the rate designated for the craft performing the work to which the welding is incidental. 5.
