In support of the City of Carlsbad’s mission, we are requesting formal sealed proposals from qualified proposers for self-insured health, dental, vision care and prescription benefits with outstanding customer service for City of Carlsbad employees and families. This RFP is for Self-Funded Medical plan administration services for domestic employees.

The City of Carlsbad requests that participating proposers match the current City of Carlsbad custom plan design as closely as possible. Any differences in plan design should be documented as part of your proposal.

The City of Carlsbad reserves the right not to procure TPA services through this request for proposals and may elect to continue with their current benefit partners. The City of Carlsbad is not obligated to change carriers as a result of this Request for Proposals
