Description:

The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals from firms or organizations to establish a contract for Animal Control Shelter Expansion in Rockdale County.

A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., local time at the Rockdale County Animal Shelter, 1506 Rockbridge Road NW, Conyers, GA 30012.

Any questions and/or misunderstandings that may arise from this RFP must be submitted in writing to Meagan Porch at meagan.porch@rockdalecountyga.gov or to the Department of Finance at the address below.  Submit questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding this RFP no later than 2:00 P.M., local time, Thursday, December 17, 2020. Written responses will be issued in an addendum. It is the proposer’s responsibility to check the Rockdale County website at www.rockdalecountyga.gov for any addenda that may be issued, prior to submitting a proposal for this RFP.

One (1) Original Technical One (1) Original Price Proposal Form must be emailed to Meagan.Porch@RockdaleCountyGA.Gov no later than 2:00 P.M., local time, Thursday, January 7, 2021. All original sealed documents must be submitted by mail to the Rockdale County Department of Finance, P.O. Box 958, Conyers, Georgia 30012 by 5:00 P.M., local time on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Any proposal(s) received after said time and date will not be considered by the COUNTY. Bids are not being accepted in person at this time.

A 5% Bid Bond will be required.  A Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% will be required from the awarded vendor.

Rockdale County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
