Description: The City’s Solid Waste Department is seeking proposals to equip the Solid Waste vehicles with a system designed to more efficiently help in routing, customer service, complaint management, to provide the drivers and the customer service representatives with proper notifications of problems on the routes. The City of Murfreesboro Solid Waste Department operates 10 automated side loader routes, 7 boom truck routes collecting brush and limbs and 4 rear loader routes. Murfreesboro is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. Murfreesboro, TN is comprised of 45,000 homes, 2,000 businesses with an ever-increasing population of 130,000, and more than 55 square miles. This solution is to help in future routing, equipment needs, future capabilities of RFID carts and billing services.
