Description:

SPEC-1 GENERAL SCOPE

1. The purpose of the Request for Bid (RFB) is to select a vendor for providing and installing fitness & weight equipment for our new North Point High School in the Wentzville School District per the specification herein.
2. Delivery Address: North Point High School, 2255 West Meyer Road, Wentzville, MO 63385
3. This is a Prime Vendor bid. One vendor will be selected for both Fitness & Weight equipment.
4. The selected vendor will provide, ship and install both the Fitness Room and the Weight Room.
5. Vendor recommendation will be made at the February 18, 2021 Board Meeting.
6. The awarded vendor will supply WSD with signed documents; SPEC-6 & SPEC-7.
7. There will be no price increase accepted after the bid is received.
8. June 2021 delivery and install.
9. It is the intent of the WSD to select equipment that best fits the needs of the district. It is the districts’ decision as to what constitutes the best fit.

-400lb Weight Set:  Any specific way you want these broken down to equal 400lbs?  We typically do the following (2-2.5lb, 2-5lb, 4-10lb, 2-25lb, 2-35lb, 4-45lb) This equals 355lbs per each set.  We can do any quantity just wanted to see what specific sizes you were looking for. That looks good for the breakdown, the bar accounts for the 45 to take us to 400 total. 

-400lb Weight Set:  Are you wanting cast iron, rubber encased or urethane Olympic plates? Cast iron with grips

This would help answer a lot of the questions we have regarding the type of equipment to offer you.
