Question: Having operated our network for almost 30 years, Crown Castle accounts for long term O&M, headcount, overhead etc, along with the cost of construction as we build fiber network nationally, regionally and locally. additionally we look at builds in 10/20/30 year increments. Has the City / County reviewed the long term costs of owning and maintaining network infrastructure versus having a 3rd party manage, maintain and operate the network over a similar time horizon?
Response: This is a Request for Qualifications. The City/County will jointly own and maintain the network.
