Description:

The City of Callaway requests qualification statements from firms for the design of sidewalk improvements on Wallace Road from US98/Tyndall Parkway to Berthe Avenue in Callaway Florida.  This project is federally funded with assistance from the FDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). By submitting a proposal, the Consultant certifies that they follow FDOT Procedure No. 375-030-006 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compete for Department Contracts) with prequalification by FDOT to perform 3.1 Minor Highway Design and 8.2 Design, Right-of-Way, and Construction Surveying types of work.  The services sought are the survey, design, and permitting of a 5’ wide sidewalk per Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Design Standards along south side of Wallace Road from Tyndall Parkway (U.S. 98) to S. Berthe Avenue, approximately 0.97 miles. The work primarily consists of a new ADA compliant pedestrian walkway system including concrete sidewalks, crosswalks, pavement markings, and other appurtenances. All proposed improvements on Wallace Road shall be located within the existing right-of-way. Wallace Road is a two-lane roadway with roadside swales drainage system.
