Description: The City of Wilson is seeking proposals from qualified parking and transportation planning consultants to assess the downtown parking system. Our objectives are to study parking space utilization and parking demand by the various current and future user groups (residents, employees, visitors etc.); to identify needs and opportunities in relation to recognized standards and to develop recommended strategies to ensure adequate and accessible parking, directional signage, information/marketing materials, and management. We are especially interested in solutions developed by communities with a sports stadium downtown.
