Description:

Fayette County Public Schools is seeking services of a Motor Coach Charter Bus Service(s) company to provide a fleet of new or late model motor coaches, buses, minibuses, etc, excluding fifteen (15) passenger vans to FCPS departments and schools on an “as needed” basis. Vehicle usage may include mini buses for daily trips within the local area, trips out of town within the region both daily and overnight, and motor coaches for longer trips. Contractor shall comply with all intrastate and interstate transportation requirements as they relate to vehicles and drivers. Vehicles shall be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

All questions must be submitted in writing by emailing matthew.moore@fayette.kyschools.us no later than two (2) weeks before the closing time of bids listed on the cover page.

Proposals may be returned by United States Postal Service, hand delivered or by any commercial carrier. It is the company’s responsibility to ensure the proposal arrives at the specified location by the date and time of the closing of proposals. Proposal should not be addressed to a specific person. E-mail, fax or telephone proposals shall not be accepted. There are no exceptions. The FCPS Purchasing Office is closed and does not accept mail, commercial carriers or hand delivered proposals on weekends and Holidays. Regular hours are 7:00AM to 3:30PM Eastern Time.

Please include with your submission one (1) original proposal and one (1) digital copy on a USB flash Drive of the proposal.
