Description: Jasper County will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work for an AWOS III P/T PROJECT (FAA AIP Project No. 3-45-0048-016-2021) at Ridgeland-Claude Dean Airport, Ridgeland, SC until 2 PM, Thursday, September 29th. Pre-Bid Meeting Details: This is a NON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Ridgeland-Claude Dean Airport, SkyBlue Aviation FBO, located across the street from 250 Jaguar Trail, Ridgeland, SC 29936, after which a site visit to the project work areas will be offered for all attendees. This meeting will also be available via Microsoft Teams or Zoom for those not attending in person (virtual meeting information to be provided upon request). Attendance in person by Prime Contractors is NOT required to bid on this project but is recommended. The purpose of the conference is to highlight the Project, explain pertinent FAA regulations as well as the Airport's safety, security and procurement processes and complete a site visit.
