Description: The objective of this work is for vendors to supply coquina and or limerock to the District. The District anticipates purchasing 15,000-17,000 tons of coquina or limerock to refurbish travel surfaces of several levee systems in the Upper Basin including L74, L75, L77, L78 and L79. Contractor shall provide coquina or limerock (material), labor and equipment to load material onto District vehicles (18-20 ton dump trucks) and issue certified weight tickets at the time of loading. The material should generally meet Florida Department of Transportation Specifications for stabilized road base but does not need to be FDOT certified.
