Question: I am submitting this question to kindly request if Wentzville School District will extend the proposal due date for “Transportation Bus Video Systems” proposal number RFP-T-320. Currently, the questions are due on Wednesday, April 19 and the proposal due date is 10AM Monday, April 24. With two days being over the weekend, that only leaves Thursday and Friday to receive answers to questions, contact sub-contractors for quotes, and prepare the proposal based on your answers. Even if Wentzville School District were to provide answers to questions quickly, this doesn’t provide adequate time to get competitive quotes from sub-contractors (we have questions that prevent us from getting system removal/installation quotes at this time) and prepare the proposal based on your answers. Would you please consider extending the due date until Thursday, April 27 or Friday, April 28 or whatever extended date you can provide?

Question: On page 2 under “SPEC-1 Transportation Bus Video Systems”: Storage Drive (120GB SSD, 2TB HDD), including lifetime warranty Q. Can you provide additional details on the lifetime warranty requirements? Industry standard warranty for hard drives is 5 years.

Response: Standard warranty is sufficient.

Response: Video files must be retained on the NVR/Cameras for 30 days For disciplinary action videos, this will be kept on Google Drive and not require services from the selected vendor.
