Question 1
Posted: 8/29/2024
Question: Under the section for Solicitation Document C it states this section must be under five pages front and back in the proposal. This section requires a part I and part II SF330 form, which would be well over that accumulative 10 pages, not including the other information. How should we proceed?
Response: Thank you for the question. The last sentence in the opening paragraph is missing information. The page limit does not include KCDC's Solicitation Document A, Solicitation Document B, the Standard Form 330 or Item 7.
Question 2
Posted: 9/16/2024
Question: Can subcontractors be identified as project-specific needs arise, or do they need to be identified upon submission of our statement of qualifications?
Response: Subcontractors can be identified as project specific needs arise.
Question 3
Posted: 9/18/2024
Question: Will an updated request for qualifications document be issued to reflect the addition of the urban planning discipline (specifically, Solicitation Document C)?
Response: A revised Solicitation Document C will be posted momentarily.
Question 4
Posted: 9/18/2024
Question: In Solicitation Document D, "Provide a list of projects completed by your firm within the last five years that are most relevant to the following disciplines: multifamily renovations, multifamily new construction, and renovation or new construction of civic buildings." What is meant by civic buildings? In Solicitation Document D, can an architecture firm that does not provide landscape architecture services, or a landscape architecture firm that does not provide architecture services, be considered? Is content required for In Solicitation Document D included in five page limit mentioned Solicitation Document C?
Response: You posted three questions in one. Each is answered separately below. 1. What is meant by "Civic Buildings?" KCDC used the term "Civic building" intentionally to represent the broad spectrum of all that KCDC may be involved in. KCDC is both a housing authority and a redevelopment authority. Under the redevelopment arm, our activities our much broader than "housing." For our purposes, civic buildings is a catch all phrase for buildings that are not private residential, multi-family or commercial buildings. 2. Can an architecture firm that does not provide landscape architecture services, or a landscape architecture firm that does not provide architecture services, be considered? Yes. 3. Is content required for In Solicitation Document D included in five page limit mentioned Solicitation Document C? Please see the other posted questions but documentation and documents that KCDC requires do not count toward the page limitation.
Question 5
Posted: 9/20/2024
Question: Which sections of the Standard Form 330 (Part 1 and Part 2) are required? A standard SF 330 Part 1 can include Sections A-H (including project pages and resumes). If so, would these projects be in addition to the already requested project listing? Are we to submit project pages/resumes in addition to the project lis?
Response: If a firm chooses to complete the entire 330 Parts 1 (Sections A=H) and 2, the requested projects list need not be provided in addition to this.
Question 6
Posted: 10/1/2024
Question: Standard Form 330, Section D, asks for an organizational chart. Is it acceptable to provide this at a later date on a project specific basis?
Response: That is acceptable.
Question 7
Posted: 10/11/2024
Question: Item number 14 under "Special Requirements" states firms must be licensed and registered in the State of Tennessee. Must firms/practitioners be registered in Tennessee at the time of submission, or is a commitment to obtaining licensure in Tennessee in the event the firm is selected appropriate?
