Description:

The Village of Buffalo Grove and the Village of Palatine invite proposals from qualified contractors to provide fleet maintenance and repair services, including all labor, parts, and materials necessary to maintain a diverse fleet of light and medium duty vehicles for the two organizations listed herein. A complete listing of vehicles is provided in the Appendix, but essentially there are about 166 vehicles from nine operating departments from the two organizations. The composition (i.e., number of vehicles, types of vehicles, department assignment, etc.) of the fleet requiring maintenance and repair services may change without prior notice. The selected vendor(s) will provide all preventive maintenance services and requested repairs for these vehicles. Proposers within a ten (10) mile radius are preferred. The selection will be based on prices, services, performance, priority, and reliability of the proposers.

All comments, concerns and questions regarding the Work and these documents shall be addressed to the Village of Buffalo Grove Purchasing Manager via email at BGfinance@vbg.org with the subject line “FLEET MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES 2021”.   All comments, concerns and questions regarding the Work must be received by Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time. All Request for Proposals must be submitted electronically through the Village’s Vendor Registry online procurement system no later than Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. “Due Date”. Hard copy bids will not be accepted. Proposals will not be publicly opened and read aloud.
