Description: The City of Parkland, Florida (the CITY) is requesting proposals from qualified Security Consultant Services firms for the purpose of providing a full range of services including but not limited to, performing a thorough review of the existing agreement for law enforcement services with the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), analyzing the level of services desired by the elected officials, city administration and residents of the City (“stakeholders”). This will include analyzing the feasibility of alternative law enforcement options (i.e. BSO, Coral Springs Police or own City Police Department) and their financial impact as further stated below in the Scope of Services, Section 5.Sealed Proposals will be received at the City of Parkland City Hall 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida, 33067, until April 24, 2018 2:00PM local time, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. All Proposers or their representatives are invited to be present. Proposals shall be delivered and addressed to, City of Parkland, Attn: Anthony Cariveau, Purchasing Director, 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida 33067 and shall be labeled “SEALED PROPOSAL FOR Security Consultant Services RFP 2018-20”.
