The City of
Carlsbad is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide and
implement an Intelligent Transportation System. The desired solution will
ideally be able to deliver tools for demand response and complementary ADA
para-transit services. Desired core technologies
include rider management, reservation tools, schedule optimization, real-time
dispatch, automated vehicle location, mobile data computers and reporting
functionality. Additional optional technologies for consideration include IVR
notifications and smartphone app solutions.
