Question: What is the estimated budget?

Response: Florence County does not disclose the budget in the RFP. The selection will not be determined only by the price.

Question: We have questions about the flooring. Do you want LVP flooring in all rooms except the kitchen and bathrooms? Then do you want the ceramic wood look only in the kitchen and bathrooms and is this ceramic tile?

Response: We are requesting LVP in all rooms EXCEPT the kitchen and bathrooms; ceramic wood tile is requested for the bathrooms and kitchen.

Response: A well will be needed since there is not a municipal water source available at this time.

Question: I have a few questions regarding the overhead type doors. In the scope it lists 14’ x 14’ garage doors with 1 row of windows with remote control x’s 4 1. Is it just the 3 doors I saw in the design picture? I ask because they are wanting "remote control x's 4? 2. Any insulation or wind load? 3. Referring to the "1 row of windows'' - Are they wanting a Full View section or PortHole Style?

Response: The windows would be the full view section. As for the doors there will be 5 total with two bays being drive through and one being entered from the front only. The bay closest to the classroom/kitchen area will only be accessed from the front through 1 bay door. As for the remotes or “door clickers” we want 4 per door so we have some for the apparatus and chiefs units. We do want the doors insulated and wind loaded per applicable codes for our location.

Question: Will this station require a vehicle exhaust extractor system for the apparatus bay? If so how many vehicles will require connection points?

Response: No exhaust system will be required.

Response: No gear room nor lockers required.

Response: The County would prefer to have this included in with your proposal so as to have a turnkey job.

Response: The building will be metal with a brick Wayne’s coating or cosmetic brick wall around the building.
