Description:

Calhoun County is seeking qualified contractors to provide services to open and close septic systems in Calhoun County as a result of property transfer inspections conducted by the Calhoun County Public Health Department (CCPHD) Bidders are requested to submit a single flat-rate cost for each instance of open and close after inspection.  As an alternate bid, provide a flat rate for backhoe cuts, as necessary, per instance.  The annual cost to the County for these services in 2019 was $10,000. The award of the contract to open and close septic systems may or may not include backhoe cuts.  The County may award this agreement to more than one provider to ensure efficiencies of service to the County.  The term of this contract will be for the period of one (1) year, with four (4) 1-year extensions possible, upon mutual agreement by both parties.
