Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the RATON PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY (RPS), a municipal franchise operating out of Raton, New Mexico, will be accepting sealed bids for a 4.16 kV to 13.8 kV circuit voltage conversion project.

Raton Public Service is accepting competitive sealed bids for the Voltage Conversion Project – Project # RPS-2025-01. The scope of work will primarily involve an Electrical Contracting Crew working independently and/or in collaboration with the RPS Line Crew. The Electrical Contracting Crew must possess a comprehensive understanding of both 4.16 kV and 13.8 kV distribution lines in the area to facilitate the conversion process, utilizing the provided maps and coordinating with the RPS Superintendent. The contractor will be responsible for all excavation activities, with NM811 documentation available on-site. RPS will provide the necessary materials and hardware. See “Specifications” section of project manual for more details.

Sealed bids shall be received until Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the office of the City Treasurer/Chief Procurement Officer as follows:

Sealed Bids received after this date and time will be returned unopened. All Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.
