Description: Statement of Purpose
The City of Goodlettsville, Tennessee (City) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide mural and traffic/utility box wrapping services for the City, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Bid.
The City is implementing the Mural and Art Tour which will start with one 20’ x 20’ mural and 11 traffic/utility boxes (33”x 24”x 63” each) transformed into visually appealing, enjoyable additions to public spaces.
The successful contractor shall provide all necessary services including:
• Labor
• Setup which includes, but not limited to, providing measurements for utility boxes to be wrapped and identify any obstructions (i.e. outlets, hinges, vents, doors, etc.) on the boxes that may interfere with the wraps and artwork.
• Fabrication/printing
• Box cleaning
• Equipment rental to complete installation
• Installation
• Clean up
The successful contractor will be responsible for providing proper license and insurance.
City will provide the list and location of the utility boxes and the mural.
City will provide artwork/image for the mural and for each box.

City is requesting:
• Total project price for material and installation (labor) for one 20’ x 20’ mural and 11 traffic/utility boxes (33”x 24”x 63” each)



Minimum Bid Specifications
• Wrapping shall be done with 3M or Avery 2 mil cast vinyl with grey opaque removable adhesive for graphics and must be eligible for warranty (or approved alternative)
• Wrapping shall be laminated with 3M or Avery 2 mil cast overlaminate for graphics and must be eligible for warranty (or approved alternative)
• Materials used must be moisture resistant and provide ultraviolet and abrasion protection
• If the Contractor proposes an alternative material, the Contractor shall provide the City with the specifications and a sample of the alternative material at the time of bid submittal. Any alternative material suggested must be moisture resistant and include ultraviolet and abrasion protection.
• Mural shall be wrapped on 3 mil aluminum composite panels 20’ x 20’ on 48” x 96” or 60” x 120” panels
• Mural shall be anchored by concrete and masonry screws, screw head color to be determined by City
• Minimum of three references
• Work must be completed by May 15, 2023.
