Question: Would it be possible to extend the bid due date from April 15, 2025, to a week or more? Our team is confident that with this extension, we can secure the best pricing possible, which would result in significant cost savings for the Hazelwood School District. Response: We are unable to extend the bid due date. The due date of April 15th is firm and will remain as scheduled.

Question: Are the brand names meant to exclude other brands or can we submit for other brands?
Response: Below is the answer to the question: On the grocery bid, if it is highlighted in yellow, it must be that manufacturer/brand. If the item only states one manufacturer/brand name, we would like that manufacturer. If the item says "or equal" or is blank, we are fine with any brand that meets the specifications listed. For the paper/disposables category, we are fine with any brand that meets the specifications and quality of the brand listed. For the chemical category, the following items must be the stated manufacturer, the other items must meet the specifications listed.
