Question 1
Posted: 6/14/2023
Question: What is the overall size desired for each display?
Response: We need something close to a 10’x18’ screen format in 16:9 ratio for each of the 2 individual screens and the capability to combine and/or separate into multiple sizes.
Question 2
Posted: 6/19/2023
Question: 1. Will the LED Screen(s) be connected to an existing control (Crestron, Extron, Etc.) or video system? Could a list of existing control or video system components be provided? 2. Will site visits be scheduled? Thank you
Response: 1. We only need video converters that accept our existing HDMI outputs (we want 2 converter/scalers in this quote). 2. There will be no other integration or control. 3. A site visit could be scheduled. However, this bid is for stand-alone units. Therefore, a site visit is not required before the sale.
Question 3
Posted: 6/22/2023
Question: Questions: 1 What will the panels be hung from and what is the height of that object (roof framing, wall frame etc). 2 Has your facilities engineer or someone with the proper license validated that the mounting location can hold the weight as required by building code? If not does this bid include the cost to ensure the hanging point is legal, by way of inspection and constructing adequate hanging points which would need to be under a separate bid process, since it can’t be evaluated before this bid is due? 3 What video source is feeding the video walls? 4 Is AV conduit with room for more cabling installed from the video source to the video wall location? 5 Do the video source cables need to be installed or are they already installed? If needed to be installed, what is the total distance from the video source to the wall as run through your installed conduit? 6 Does the installation location have adequate electrical at the exact location of the install for both video walls? If not is the county providing the electrical contractor and ensuring they are completed before the video wall install? 7 The product refresh rate is 1,920Hz while your document requests 3840 MHZ refresh. Can you confirm this is an error in the description? 8. Do you have a scissor or cherry lift on sight if required for install? If not, is the area of installation strong enough to support a lift and is there passage to that location for a lift? 9. Your request states panels may need to be configured into one giant panel from the two, or many panels. To provide that capability we would require knowing the exact sizes and number of panels of each and that you have adequate AC installed at each location, since hanging equipment, processors and components are specific to each panel layout design. Can you provide a detailed list of every configuration the panels may be reconfigured to that you want bid, so all the parts can be selected for each layout? 10. What is the approximate size room of each install location? L-W-H. 11. Is there anything in the way of the install that needs to be removed? 12. If the bid request has left out critical information to the bidders that comes to light during install and that lack of information causes a increase of more than $500 to the install, will the county pay for all the overages if it was their mistake not to include the required details? 13. Is county permitting required for this install? If so is the county pulling and managing the permits?
Response: See Addendum 1

What is the required video format, input, and resolution? We need to know how these walls are being used and what inputs are required. Details are big in this area, especially for processing. 6. What is the project schedule and timeline?
