Description: The Town of Kingston Springs is seeking to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its incorporation this fall by providing a special program to celebrate its local history and build community pride. The finished product should accomplish the following: -Build a ‘sense of place’ and engender community pride amongst its audience. -Focus on the contributions of local individuals and organization in the development of the Town of Kingston Springs. -Researched and properly annotated chronology of Kingston Springs history. -A public participation event(s) or program(s) focusing on the history of the Town. -Interpretative features to highlight the local importance of events and persons. -Inclusion from as many local stakeholders, schools, organizations, and residents as possible. -An electronic component which can easily be accessed using the Town’s new website and social media resources.
