Question: On Page 6 of the RFP, under FUNDAMENTAL COMMISSIONING Scope of Work – Equipment and System to Commission: 1. Please confirm that 25% sampling is desired for the items: #1HVAC Systems, #2HVAC Controls Systems, #3Plumbing Systems, #4Electrical Power Systems, and #7Automated solar shading devices and controls. 2. Please clarify what systems are included in the Electrical Power Systems. 3. Please clarify if the metering devices are the electrical main and sub-meters to the extent required by LEED and should be included in Alternate A2 for Enhanced Commissioning and not part of Base Bid Fundamental Commissioning and Verification. 4. Please list any other systems besides solar photovoltaics that will be part of the project (e.g., solar thermal, geothermal, wind, etc.). 5. Please confirm if Envelope testing is part of the Fundamental Commissioning scope of work or part of Add Alternate A2 – Building Envelope Commissioning Scope of Work as described starting on page 12. 6. Please confirm if 100% of Test and Balance observation and verification is required or if sampling is allowed. If so, what percentage of sampling is required?

Response: 1. 25% sampling is acceptable for fundamental commissioning. Automated solar shading devices are to be priced seperately in Add Alternate A4. 2. Please refer to the electrical drawings included in the RFP, specifically the electrical one-line diagram (drawing E-501) for electrical systems & equipment to be commissioned. 3. That is correct, metering devices are the electrical main and sub-meters, which should be included in Alterante A2, as required by LEED. 4. PV is not currently part of the project, nor is geothermal, solar thermal, wind, etc.. The project is being designed to be PV ready but the actual PV array is not part of the Design-Builers scope of work. 5. Envelop testing should be included as part of the A2 Alternate 6. Sampling is acceptable, assume 25%"

Question: On RFP Page 7, #23 "Attend Project Team review meetings to coordinate and collaborate with the project team and discuss comments on plans and specifications." Please provide an estimate of the number of meetings for the purpose of putting the fee together.

Response: Refer to the attached schedule dated 10/21/2021 for preliminary durations; assume one (1) 2 hour meeting per month during the design and construction document phase, and then a half-day working session meeting at the completion of each design milestone phase. Provide meeting schedule assumptions with bid submission.
