Description: REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS of QUALIFICATIONS
The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MKAA) is now accepting Statements of Qualifications for:
Audio and Visual Technology Systems and Services
for the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority at McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Alcoa, Tennessee, and Downtown Island Airport (DKX) in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The MKAA has need for a service provider, with a local business presence in the Metropolitan Knoxville Area to provide both remote, and/or onsite support and services to operate, maintain and sustain or various subject systems and services. These system or services can generally be described as, but are not limited to:
1. Digital Audio and Video Advertising in the McGhee Tyson Passenger Terminal
2. Mobile and fixed audio equipment to support private and public meetings, presentations, and events
3. Mobile and fixed video equipment to support private and public meetings, presentations, and events
4. Digital signage and display system for internal MKAA business operations
5. Miscellaneous technology or IT system related to Audio and Visual Technology Systems and Services
The scope of desirable qualifications includes service, technical support, configuration as well operational support to systems. These services are contemplated for both systems that are currently owned or provided, as well as potential future systems deployments.
The MKAA has no intention of eliminating any company from submitting a Statement of Qualifications. However, certain specifications must be met or exceeded to ensure the effective operation of TYS and DKX. No cost or rate information shall be presented.
The process will open on January 25, 2022, and close on Friday, February 11, 2022 (now extended to Friday, March 4, 2022) at 4:00PM EST. The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MKAA) reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, with or without cause. No late submittals will be accepted. The submittals will be reviewed based on responsiveness and qualifications.
